    Hi Jeroen,

    We would like to have a signup for volunteers for events. With every screening we have 3 volunteers (and possibly 1 or 2 volunteers who are being trained) with roles like tickets, explicator (or host) and operator. Now we use an online sheet (PBWorks, a bit like to Google Docs or Office 365) but this involves a lot of double work with event lists.
    I’m looking for a way to integrate this on our website so signed in volunteers can sign in on the coming events in one of the forementioned roles.
    I’ve checked different volunteer management plugins, but there is no way to link them to theater events, thus maintaining double work in recreating events.
    Do you know of a plugin which is easy to link, or some way with CF7/ACF maybe (I tried a bit, but it quickly gets complicated)?

    If I understand correctly you don’t really need a form, because the volunteer is already logged in. A simple ‘sign-in’ button for each role on the event page would be enough.

    I don’t know of any existing solutions, so this would require quite some custom code.

    Yes, I figured it would not be a simple one.
    I tried something like that with a combination of CF7 and ACF, but as far as I can see there’s a bit more coding required. A pity that every sign up plugin I tried uses it’s own custom post… :/
    For now I think I will try to incorporate a Google Doc. That’s much easier to do, but keeps making extra lists needed.
