• Using Happenstance Theme ver. 2.0.9
    Using Chrome Version 53.0.2785.143 m

    I just updated the theme, and I can no longer access the Visual tab when editing a page. Fortunately, I know decent HTML, but any idea when the Visual tab is going to be fixed? I’d hate to have to go find another theme when I’ve got this one working just the way I like. :/

    Dear Monica,

    at first, please try to deactivate all installed plugins and empty cache in your browser as there might be a plugin conflict causing this issue. Also verify whether the problem persists if you switch to the default Twenty Sixteen theme to rule out a theme-specific problem. If the Visual editor works correctly with a different theme, please try to reinstall the HappenStance theme from a fresh copy.

    If the above steps do not resolve the issue, try:
    – turn on script debugging in wp-config.php to diagnose JavaScript errors
    – adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
    define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M' );
    – reinstall WordPress from a fresh copy

    Best regards,
    Tomas Toman

    Tomas,

    Want to report back that I got it working. Turning on the script debugging in the wp-config.php file did the trick. Thought you might want that nugget for anyone else who has the same issue.

    Thanks!

    Monica
