    bump….
can i have more comments please?

    thanks in advance

No bumping! If anyone has comments on you’re site, they’ll leave them for you.

Your site is just fine, its a Wp-Andreas9 theme, it doesn’t look like its been modified at all. What is one supposed to say about a seemingly unmodified theme? “Wow, great job using a theme!”

Fine: Great job using a theme!

Referring to the OP, I believe he was more interested in ideas about how to drive traffic to the site, not a theme review.

I have little to contribute though as I haven’t figured that out yet either. ??

I had read somewhere that if you wish to obtain better search results, it is best to stay away from using popular pre-packaged themes, something about if there is a large number of sites using the same theme, it might set off spam flags.

How are we supposed to suggest how to improve traffic, how old is the site, is it listed on Google etc., unfortunately I’ve left my psychic hat in the bat-mobile, so if that’s the kind of help the posters is desirous of, some details as to what the problem is would be helpful.

First things first, i asked for feedback and i got them, so thank you.

No, i am not asking if i had done a good job applying a theme. That i know i have done well.

Some sleuthing will take care of the “how old is the site” ; the archives are there. But for the uninitiated ‘superhero’ its coming to 2 years plus now with WordPress since the launch. Last i checked with Sergey and Larry, they did list my site.

My thinking would be that the domain name sucks big time. Its a mouthful and susceptible to misspellings. What say you, ‘Robin’?

Or maybe i am just not ranting enough.

Well, “tonguetwisters” would be likely to get more hits than “linguagymnastics” whether there’s any synonymy or not. And I don’t have any idea whether that might be part of your problem….

Can’t hurt to rant s’more though for sure…. seems like that’s a lot of what drives ratings.

    (@j3r0m3)

thats has been my bugbear six months into the first year of Linguagymnastics.

But then things got busy and i left it be.

Hey vkaryl, you got a site that i can visit?

ranting seem to be more for those teenage angst, or them against the government kind of discontent.

    I definitely need more inspiration

    vkaryl

    (@vkaryl)

Sure…. not much going on at https://vkaryl.net/pov/ but that’s because I have so much going on elsewhere maybe…. but feel free to read what’s there, comment if you want to be bothered with the registration shmear etc….

How about a new domain? maybe grab durian.whatever’s-still-available…. “what a nice smell you’ve found”, or whatever’s somewhat fishy in the world with which you’re most familiar contrasted with what may look like dead fish on a beach but is really something else….

I dunno…. sometimes finding not only a “voice” but the domain name which expresses it as well as the passion to proliferate it is harder than one would believe….

Sometimes it’s worth just sitting down with a pen and a piece of paper, and making some notes about what you want to do, how you may want to go about doing it, and where you want to get to with it.

So many names, so little ideas.

Thanks for the heads up though. Really appreciate it.
