Visual Editor stopped working

  • Yesterday visual editor ceased working for my posts. Now only white space and squiggly red lines (for spellcheck alerts) show up in the Visual Editor window. The Tiny MCE buttons also do not show up.

    I am using Thesis. I have plugins and I tried deactivating many of them, then reactivating again.

    Coincidental to this dysfunction was that I’d allowed Google In-Page Analytics unwittingly. I didn’t realize it would overtake my dashboard and to get rid of it I had to clear my browser’s cache. This is when the problem started, although I’m not saying it was the cause.

    Ideas for how I can begin composing again? Thanks in advance.
