• I have no idea what’s going on, and have tried to search for a remedy. I’m new to wordpress and am having the following issue.

When I first tried to edit a page (“about”) I was able to type freely in the Visual format. Randomly, I am no longer able to type. Every key stroke simply changes the letter, but the cursor does not advance. I can’t type a single word. I can goto HTML and type, but if I switch back to visual and press ANY key it replaces the last character. The only key that works is delete, which doesn’t help at all.

Any idea what is going on?

Being new to wordpress this is very disheartening. Thanks in advance to any help.

    Maybe this needs some clarification.

I type the following under the HTML tab for my page: “example”

I then switch to VISUAL and attempt to start where I left off at, wanting to make the word “examples”

    “S” = “exampls”

hit any other key, such as “p” = examplp”

hit “p” multiple times = “examplp”.

    Delete one character = “exampl”

Rinse and repeat. This is frustrating.
