Visual editor problem fixed with debugging enabled; what to do next?

  • Hi guys,

    As a lot of others I am having a problem with the visual editor button not working + edits not updated on my pages, productpages etc.

    My testsite has the debugging enabled and it seems to fix this issue!
    define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);

    What should I do to make it work on my livesite again? I don’t want to enable debugging there!

    I have no idea if this is an issue in wordpress or the theme or plugin?
    Hope someone can help, thank you!

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
