Visual editor not working with ACF 5.1.7.1

Hi!
The wysiwyg acf-qtranslate field stopped working and gets messed up.
The content is doubled everytime I update the post.
The toolbar on the english tab dissappeard completely and in the text mode the content for both languages is visible in both fields like so: <!–:de–> text <!–:–> <!–:en–> text <!–:–>. After updating the post the content gets something like this:
<!–:de–><!–:de–> text <!–:–> <!–:en–> text <!–:–> text <!–:–> <!–:en–> text <!–:–>any help would be highly appreciated!
