• The problem with visual editor has happened again with this update.
The update didn’t fix the “Visual Editor Bug”
I had no problems with my Visual Editor before this update.
It recently just went blank for no reason. No changes were made but that update.
Please let me know if WordPress is soon going to fix this, i’m sure i’m not the only one with Visual Editor Problems.
The letters turn ‘White’ ; ‘Tool Bar’ doesn’t show. I haven’t tested the image situation yet.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could tell me something about this bug quickly, my site is a large news site.

    No, it’s not a plug-in.

    It’s WordPress 3.9.1….

    Thanks,

Fixed the problem for those who have the same issue.

I fixed mine due to a browser issue.

I will update this if I find out specifically what the browser has conflicted to make the visual editor not work.

    Thanks!

I’ve re-downloaded both browsers on my windows laptop and it doesn’t work.
On my Imac it works fine.

Thus is why I believe it was a browser issue, but doing these few things it may be more.

Hopefully wordpress will soon come out with an update or a fix for this situation.

I am a huge news site, ( https://www.420newswire.com ) and need to find a fix for this situation for when i’m traveling for business.

The problems exactly, – Stuck on visual, letters are white, can only see them when highlighted ; but they seem to be formatted as ‘text’, I tried the alt+f10 thing that it says to do when you can’t see the toolbar in ‘Help’ but it doesn’t work. Clearing cache doesn’t work, plug-ins (1-by-1) doesn’t work..

Please let me know ASAP. Thanks

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
