    Hi,

The visual tab of the editor is not working.

I have tried disabling all plugins, switch to 2014 theme, and upload new wp-admin, wp-includes via ftp with no success.

    website: https://www.CurrentInspiration.com

When on the add new post page, Chromes JS console gives the following: (I am not a programmer, so I am not sure what this means).

Consider using ‘dppx’ units instead of ‘dpi’, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: print, not all, (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.25), (min-resolution: 120dpi) post-new.php:27

  • Can we see the site using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

All plugins are disabled, 2014 theme activated (its ugly)

    also cloudflare is paused.

Just looked at the visual editor again. It’s working.

I will activate one by one to find the culprit.

The only difference from last try is pausing cloudflare.

I’ll let you know what I find.

All plugins and Responsive theme is now working OK.

I also unpaused Cloudflare. Still working OK.

My guess is – pausing and unpausing claudflare fixed the problem.

    Chromes JS Console no has:

So does it work or not? Your last post stated you had it working.

Can you help me? My last post was November 2013. I just installed 3.9.1. I added a new post, gave it a title and cannot write my post. Don’t have the editing tools I was expecting. tried Alt + F10. no success. reinstalled 3.9.1 again. still no luck.

    my site is https://www.sharonrothwriter.com

    thank you.

Its working. I only put the JS Console information up for you and others to see.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi,

While it looks like you may may have been able to fix the issue, I did want to hop in and say that one of our optional performance features (Rocket Loader) may inadvertently break things in the admin section of WordPress. I would consider placing a PageRule in to turn off CloudFlare’s caching and performance features on the wp-admin url.

After running scan after scan on my computer, trying ALL the reported fixes, it was as simple as resetting both browsers (IE & Chrome) back to original settings. Logged into the website with both, and now I see the Visual/Text editors.
