Visual editor not allowing color dropdown

  • This has not been a problem until the past month(?) or so. Using IE8, WP will not allow me to change font color using the Visual dropdown option. I’ve also found that I can now also no longer embed videos (esp. YouTube) in the visual window as I used to. I can accomplish both of these tasks in HTML, but find that a pretty big pain. Did a little test in Firefox and none of these problems exist there. Here are the error message (from bottom left of IE window) details that I got from trying to click on Video icon-

    I am NOT an administrator on my site. I’ve bounced this problem off him and he’s rather stumped. Thanks for any help!
