We just moved from a development phase to hosted on “BlueHost.” Using Native Church. Looks ok from the user perspective, but the Visual Editor is gone. Only way to edit is through “text.”

Any help here? The whole reason for using WP was for the visual WYSIWYG editor!

which plugins are installed on your website?
can you deactivate all and reactivate each one by one?

    also:
be sure that user profile does not have “Disable the visual editor when writing” checked off

Seems like this problem is causing due to .js files. Try re-uploading all your .js files, It worked for me.

Discovered that an update caused the user setting to default to “text.” Fixed now. Only a developer would default to “text.”

Same problem fixed with the NewDominionChoraliers solution (thanks !) : just go in “user”, select your profile, than “modify” and uncheck the option that put the text editor by default (don’t know the english name…)
