• I really need help as I do not understand or have the understanding of how things are being explained. Here’s what I have done since I upgraded to 4.2.1 and my visual editor is blank yesterday.

    1. Deactivated plugs in-it made no difference
    2. Tried the twenty fifteen theme- no difference
    3. Tried a different browser (Firefox) – still not working
    4. Tried manually downloading wordpress but I don’t understand the steps required.

I’m really un-tekky and don’t understand the lingo. Could someone perhaps recommend a video that could help me? I am feeling very lost in this whole process and really need to get my site working again ??

I see it’s asking for a link to my site…not even sure what they mean by that other than it’s https://www.ahundredhearts.com

    Thanks so much,
    Marianne

Tried manually downloading wordpress but I don’t understand the steps required.

    – Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old copies of files & folder on your server before uploading the new ones. Read the Manual Update directions first.
If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong.
