• have the same problem some people are having… ever since 2.3 (and upgrades to this) and now I’ve upgraded to 2.5, still the same problem, no plugins, no themes, tried almost everything that all the forum threads say… so i don’t know…

also just because it works for most people (and it works fine in the other 20 wordpress installations i have) still on this one it just doesn’t work, and since the only thing that i haven’t messed with is the database, i think something is not as it should in there, maybe from some old plugin, because i tried everything from deleting everything and installing everything from scratch… and still it doesn’t work

  • I had the same problem on both my godaddy host and Windows 2003 server running on IIS 6.0. This same problem does not occur on my local test environment running xampp. After trying many things like advanced TinyMCE, flush the cache or reload the entire TinyMCE directory, I gave it up. I am running 2.5 as well.

However, I switched to FCK editor, then BOOM, problem solved.
Even it takes longer to load, I think it’s perfect since you get everything back. You can get it from the plugin section or visit the link below.

    Chaoman, you the man

I have hours wrapped up into dead end ideas on fixing the visual editor in 2.51.

Boom, the FCK editor solved the problem. No spell check,

There sems to be bad blood between godaddy and TinyMCE. The free godaddy web hosting throws up a banner that shows up everywhere, even when you open the editor.

I’m too cheap to pay 4/month for hosting my daughters rabbit blog.

Chaoman thank you as well! This works great. ??

My problem with my wordpress is comments, once a comment is posted instead of refreshing back to the post with the new comment, it goes to a blank page. Then you must hit refresh in IE to get the post page to come up. Why is WP not refreshing back to the orginal post with the new comment?
