  • Try adding define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line).

Tried this and then went to my wp-admin and recieved the following:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_REQUIRE_ONCE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/content/s/h/e/shelmiller/html/wordpress/wp-config.php on line 77

I think you made a mistake when you added the line I suggested above.

    Hi esmi,

Thanks for your help but the problem remains. I went through the process of copying and pasting define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true); just before the require_once line. I was able to get into my wp-admin this time but the same thing exists; Visual button visible but nothing happens when I click it. Also, now my menus on the page are simple words running vertically.

You are not running the Twenty Twelve theme and seem to still have active plugins.

I went back to the Atahualpa theme because going to 2012 made no difference and I had Atahualpa all set up.

I re-activate WordPress SEO plugin a few minutes ago because de-activating it made no difference and I needed to do some SEO work.

I believe the problem to be related to going to a Linux server from my old Windows server. Perhaps something got messed up with the switch?
