Visual editor and quicktags not working after 2.2 upgrade

  • I just upgraded my blog to WP 2.2. In the admin page, the visual editor is not working, only the code editor. When I click on visual editor, nothing happens, I see only the code. The quicktags are gone. The “use visual editor when writing” feature is turned on so it can’t be that. I have cleared the cache several times. Please advise what to do.

    I fixed it! I deactivated a plugin called Secure and Accessible PHP contact form (v.2.0WP B20070414), now everything is working again. I see the Visual Editor and the quicktags.

    My suggestion: deactivate each plugin and test your site. See which one is getting in the way.
