Visual editing for galleries not working

    Since NGG update (NGG 3.0.8 and NGPro 2.6.3) any new page or post with inserted NGG displays in visual editor as text(verbose code). I cannot therefore set display parameters for each gallery (Album). There is no default photo to click on to bring up the display editor. Existing pages and posts with galleries (or albums) are OK provided I do not edit them.
    Some guidance for a dummy would be appreciated.

    Hi @grahamkay,

    Let’s first check to see if there is a plugin conflict happening. Temporarily deactivate all plugins, then reactivate NextGEN Gallery only. Does the issue still appear? If so, temporarily switch to a WordPress theme (this deactivation is only intended to quickly check to see if the issue goes away or is still present). If by deactivating the other plugins, the issue does go away, reactivate each of the other plugins one at a time to locate the culprit. Keep me posted on your results ??

    Thanks for your prompt input.
    I will work around the problem for now as I have a large post thet needs completion. I was sort of hoping (but not expecting) the problem to be a simple fix. So once completed and time passed for my subscribers to read it I will try your suggestion.

    I updated my Jetpack plug in and all is good. Problem Solved
