• I’m editing a page on my website, and it’s looking pretty good in the VISUAL mode of the editor.

But when I publish the page and look at it online, whether I use Safari or FireFox, the layout looks problematic.

    1) The spacing of lines inside a textbox is wrong (too much vertical space between lines).
    2) A bulleted sublist doesn’t show up as a sublist — it just looks like it’s part of the main list.

    What should I do?

  • Yes, the visual editor is NOT identical to rendered pages. Fix the pages so they look right in a browser — since that is where your viewers see them. How are you entered content? Just typing? Or cutting and pasting by chance? If you post a link to your site, that would be helpful in helping you.

I’m having the same problem with spacing – here’s my page link: https://iamme.org/executive-board/

The first two people listed in the table have the correct spacing, all of the people after that have spacing that is too much.

I’m actually coding in HTML because I couldn’t figure out how to do a table in visual. I also coded the font styles because I didn’t like any of the format options available.

I’ve tried using the line break code (br) and paragraph code (p), but alas, the website seems to do whatever it wants!

Thanks for any help/guidance you can provide.
