Visual Composer shortcodes not being stripped

    Hello guys! I am having a problem with Visual Composer shortcodes. Visual composer is an excellent visual editor that is included with plenty of WordPress themes, so this will happen often. When I publish reviews or some articles instead of news, I always use Visual Composer to make a nice layout. These shortcodes are not being removed from the steemit publication.

    The shortcodes not being stripped here are:

    [vc_row]

    [vc_column width=”1/3″] -> the width can change to any decimal number combination

    [vc_column_text]

    [infobox color=”#81d742″] -> the color code can change to any color code

    [dropcap size=”220%” color=”#8cc63f” textcolor=”#FFFFFF”] -> of course, size, color and textcolor can change to any other valid values.

    And closures like [/dropcap] [/vc_column_text] [/vc_column] [/vc_row] [/infobox] are not being removed either.

    Thanks a lot for your feedback !

    We pushed an update on the server (no need for you to do any actions), these shortcodes are now being stripped ??

    Can I ask you for one more thing? If you need me to open another thread for this, do let me know.

    For non-English blogs like mine, it is usually best to add the language specific tag in Steem. In my case, the “spanish“ tag. Can you please add an additional field in the plugin’s settings to add some tags that we want to be added on every post along with the post tags? Right now there is a field to specify tags we want only if there are no tags in the post.

    We’re still looking for ways to implement all of this without it being confusing for people.
