    I’m not familiar with the “Visual Composer”. So I don’t what “map your shortcode” means.
    The free version of the JCI-plugin does not evaluate a shortcode in a template text.
    So if you use [jsoncontentimporter..]..[other_shortcode]..[/jsoncontentimporter] the [other_shortcode] is ignored.

    The pro-version executes [other_shortcode] either before inserting json or after.

    Thanks. I decided to bypass their shortcode system.
