VISUAL COMPOSER PLUGIN LEADING TO SSL MIXED CONTENT ERROR

  • Hi there,
    I have a theme with visual composer installed.I recently purchased a ssl certificate and have been getting mixed content error resulting to the padlock showing as yellow instead of green.In short,pages are being loaded over https but the request being made via http.
    I installed the ssl insecure content fixer plugin to resolve this error.
    However apparently,according to their support team,the error is resulting from this very plugin in,visual composer.
    I would kindly like to know how to resolve this.My guess is that the visual composer has requests being made via absolute paths,and the problem is that these paths might be http instead of https. So if there is a way to tweak it so that the urls are changed to https i would love to here it or how to configure this plugin to allow ssl insecure content fixer plugin to do its job.
