Visual composer breaks when support featured image is selected

Hi, I am trying to get Visual composer work nicely with Custom Post Type UI. However when I select support for featured image at the custom post type it prevents Visual composer from loading when editing custom post. Without support it is working fine. I am using latest version of all plugins and wordpress. I was wondering if you’d perhaps have a fix. I also tried to contact Visual Composer team with this question.
