• Can you add support to VC youtube element? Currently you don’t do anything to https inside, and httpv turns into someone else’s video.

It also breaks carousels somehow by adding a blank slide after it. So I can’t use the shortcode version.

Not into VC or pagebuilders in general, but maybe try the LYTE widget, most pagebuilders support adding wordpress widgets?

    I’m adding 10 vids to a carousel, so I can’t unless I create 10 sidebars.
And I’d never manage it with things on pages and on sidebars etc.

But doesn’t VC allow you to add widgets anywhere (as in not only in sidebars)?

VC allows me to add a sidebar anywhere.
Then I’d go into the appearance and fill the sidebar with widgets.

    Their code [vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/asdf” align=”center” css_animation=”fadeIn”]

    generates an iframe.
I’m not sure why it’s not detected

Nor is a textbox with https

reason/ problem is that LYTE uses WordPress core’s standard the_content filter, which does not works for pagebuilders.
