Visual button and items in text editor disappeared

    Everything worked perfectly til yesterday. In text editor for post and pages, only show the one line of buttons for html. the change button for visual and html just above disappeared.
    We deactivated all plugins, re-installed WP, and still, only shows the the one line for html coding, like here.
    Installed now CKeditor and then it shows nothing, deactivated it and back to standard WP editor, but visiual is missing.
    All other websites with same theme and plugins are all ok. Only happened on one site
    please help

  • Go to the user profile page for the user you are logging into the dashboard with.. and has the broken editor.

    Click “Users”, and then click “edit” under the user account with the problem.

    Now, on the “User Profile” page… there is an option at the very top to disable the visual editor.

    If that option is checked… you need to un-check it and save your options.

    Was that the problem?
