‘visual’ and ‘text’ tabs are blank?

  • Hi,

    My website is live and operates OK. However, when I login to the wordpress backend I am unable to view the contents on the pages. The titles of the individual pages are visible but when I click on them to edit them both the ‘visual’ and ‘text’ tabs are blank?

    Could anybody suggest anything?

  • Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    Hi,

    If I try both of these options is there a chance that the website will break? I’m afraid to try anything incase the website breaks.

    Nothing should break. All the data for themes, plugins in your database. The error you describe is usually caused by a JavaScript conflict with a plugin.
