vistor numbers not recorded in specific time frame

Looking at your site’s stats, I can see that visits have declined overall during the last week.

However, there are many reasons why this may have happened, ranging from a decrease in visitors to an increase in visits from bots which may not be recorded by Jetpack. I’m also wondering if your site runs maintenance tasks during this time, which may cause issues.

If you could share more info about how you know specifically that Jetpack isn’t recording valid visits, we can take a look.

Thanks for your reply. The visitor number may be different from time to time. That’s acceptable. What’s not working is that, the visitor number is not counting during a specific time frame, like from 0-8 a.m. in the morning. I do not have maintenance tasks during this time as we getting orders regularly. When I wake up in the morning I can always see there is only 1 vistor with hundreds of views. I am sure it’s not a bot, because I have tens of orders during this time. The vistor number then starts to increase after the morning. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
