    Hi there!

I’ve run into the following problem. For some time, I had only visitors vote active on my pages (not blog, but archive), and today I also added author review to it. At first it was all working fine, with both ratings showing correctly. After that however I changed the author of the page and the visitor vote somehow “emptied”. I see history is saved, so if you hover over the rating, you will see the votes, but the stars are empty (grey-ish).

    Here’s an example: https://www.startwebsiting.com/website-builders/webnode/

The first rating being author review, and the second (you need to scroll down to see it), visitors votes.

Any idea how to solve this issue?

    Many thanks!

Yes you can fix it; do you know how to use phpmyadmin (or similar) to view the database?

P.s. I would like to understand why this happened: how do you changed the author?

    Hi Dudo,

Yes, I know how to work with MySQL but I never had a chance to do that with WordPress. I don’t know how to get to the phpmyadmin in wordpress. Can you tell me or give me a page where I can read about it?

You can easily change the author of a post/page by clicking either “Quick Edit” for that post/page or by scrolling to the bottom of the page for which you want to change the author when in the editor. Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    1) Can you access to your phpmyadmin? You can ask to your hosting for credential
    2) Ok, you just used the default one. I’ve just tried it but nothing goes wrong

Okay, when I receive my credential for the database what should I do/change there?

    Thank you,

In the table yasr_votes find the row with postid 49 (is the post you linked above) and in the fields number_of_votes and sum_votes put the correct value ??

It works like a charmmmm ?? Thank you! I will mark this topic resolved.

Just one more question concerning the exact same page (post 49). When I check my pages on google I see the stars for all of them (which is awesome ?? ) but I don’t see any stars for this post 49. Is it possible because of the issue I went through? Or I should change something else in the DB?
