Hi, checking data in your dashboard we noticed a lot of entries with “Search blocked”. How can we know if this are ok or if your plugin is acutually blocking users when using the “search function”.

    Here a real example:

    Status: Search denied
    Info:
    May 16, 2021 08:43:27
    202.61.253.XX
    Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MJ12bot/v1.4.8; https://mj12bot.com/)
    CleanTalk ID: a3a91096d37c9ea8f6b1f31498df95be
    Page URL: https://www.lluislaw.com/es/?s=Ajuste%20de%20estatus
    Message Ajuste de estatus

    *** Forbidden. Sender blacklisted. ***`

How can we know if that is a bot or a user? We have tons of messages with the:

    /?s URL (search) blocked.

Our Anti-Crawler is switched off, we only use the Firewall.

    Hello.
    We’ve analyzed your feedback.
Almost all blocked search requests are requests from blacklisted IPs or users without JS (what is typical for spam crawler bots), truly legal users are not blocked.
If you want you can uncheck the option “Test default WordPress search form for spam” in your Anti-Spam plugin settings (WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Test default WordPress search form for spam” to “Off” —> Save Changes).

    Hello.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
