• Hello,

I am trying your plugin out but it looks like when multiple visitors at coming to the website none of them are being logged in the visitor count (but their pageviews are). Why might the visitors not be showing up? Can you provide any insight on how a visitor is determined?

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks very much,

    James

    Hello James,

How do you know about the multiple visitors? Do you yourself try to visit your site? There is a lot of mechanism to block the same visitors: cookie, IP, date, etc.

I have the same issue here. New visitors are only shown as page views, not new visitors. So I basically have ONE visitor and 6500 pageviews.

People from our Company visit the site all the time so there should be people from different countries and stuff but it only shows the country of the server location, if that’s relevant?

Seems like a bug. I will fix it in the next version. Thank you for reporting!

    Thanks for the replies.

artifex404, any idea what your schedule is looking like for the next version? I’d greatly appreciate it if you could let me know.

I will try to release by the end of this week.

Any news on that update? I would be fully satisfied with the plugin if that was fixed. Otherwise my company will decide to go back to Google Analytics and I’m trying to prevent that from happening.

Sorry, was very busy. The problem with the bug is that I can’t get it fully reproduced. I’ll try to fix this bug asap.

I wish I could give you access to my site but that’s not allowed because of company regulations. Please let me know how I can help otherwise.

What is the url of your site? I could check if the plugin initialise properly by looking a the cookie it sets.

diaboliq7, try to change the setting for statistics period to 100 days for example.

Thanks for your answer, but nothing changed.
Still counting only admin views (even in “Top links” section there are only admin links, only one Browser and only one Operating System – exactly the same as admin).
I’m testing in different enviroments and browsers: desktop and mobile, and Chrome, FF, IE, Edge, Dolphin, Opera (including mobile versions).

But I’m still thinking that I forget about sth important ??

I visited your site, still one visitor?

    diaboliq7

    (@diaboliq7)

    yes
I’m admin only. Site owner still refreshing and nothing change.

I disable “Administration Exclusion” (“yes” option is checked) and now pageview doesn’t counting anything (1 visitor today – me as admin).
