• Hi,

I would like to know how to let visitors fill a form and then handle their own submissions (export, delete, view).
I did some tests but I don’t know how to achieve this, even though the plugin’s description page states it’s possible to.

    Thank you in advance.

  • You need to setup the Privacy Tools Page[dashboard->tools->privacy->general] and to put the shortcode [gdpr_privacy_tools] on a page.

Then make sure the page URL is excluded from the caching.

Try to open Privacy tools page in a browser’s private tab.

@rku4er thanks for helping out! I didn’t subscribe to this forum and therefore WP didn’t send me email notifications on posts. Was wondering why it’s so quiet. Oh well, live and learn.

@alteabv did you get the form working? ??

    Hi,

I have a similar problem. I can’t seem to export anything from admin, trying to achieve the same from Privacy Tools page following the above still won’t work.

https://csred.cz/en/privacy-tools/ (example). I get 404 error on exporting data table/JSON there.

Same goes for the Gravity Forms Add-on. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

PS: just tried the private tab – again 404 yet I get the email with a link about personal data. Clicking on it again leads to 404 error.

Is it possible for users to modify form data? Or to delete individual entries? I don’t see that anywhere.

    Hi,

I am testing the export of personal data on our site and it works great EXCEPT that the confirmation email states that the personal data and account will be DELETED!

If a user just wants to see their personal information – why are they deleting the account without an explicit request from the user.

My admin account as a result will be automatically deleted on Jun 5 for testing this feature.
