• I was wondering whether anyone knew of a plugin, or a solution that would help me with the following.

I am a teacher and use WordPress for my department website to store resources for students in lessons. What I really want is a way that pupils can go to a page on the blog/site and then enter a few details (name etc. like on a contact form) and then also upload a file to me, which is then placed in a specified folder on the server (in the same way that you specify the WordPress upload folder). I would be great if it could be a restricted page to WordPress Users however this is not crucial as I can protect it using our own authentication.

This would be a great way of pupils getting work to us. Any ideas would be great.

  • I’d love a plugin like this as well. It’d be even greater if they could upload multiple files at once.

    Did you find anything?

Unfortunately no I am yet to find something that will function like this. You could use a contact form to add an attachment but then it is delivered by email rather than uploading to server. It is harder to keep opening email attachments all the time.

There must be something out there that can be used or adapted. Anyone any ideas?

I need such a plugin too.

I would love a solution for this!
