Thanks for the plug-in. My issue is that the plugin has stopped collecting data. I have removed all exclusions, I checked memory usage: 35,820,184 of 256M. I scrolled through the support threads and it seems the only thing left to do is purge data. I purged users online, visits, but I really don’t want to purge visitors… Is there something I can do to prevent this lag from happening in the future? I am bummed out that I will lose all this data. I relaunched my website and the plugin collected data for 3 weeks and stopped. Is it normal to have to purge this data so frequently?

    Thanks

No, there shouldn’t be any need to purge the data. I’d suggest turning on the exclusion tracking and see why your hits aren’t being recorded.

I had the exclusion tracking on and it did show hits to the site.

Is there a way to put data back into the totals? Before I purged the data I exported it via CSV. I would like to have the total # of visitors to be listed in the plugin.

    Thanks for your response.

If the hits are being recorded in the exclusions then purging the data won’t solve the problem. Which exclusion is getting the most hits?

The Historical tab (Statistics->Optimization->Historical) let’s you keep your totals after purging, it is automatically updated when you perform a purge within the plugin.

Thank you for your quick response. I believe that the error was in my setup of the exclusions. The plugin stopped tracking after I entered my IP, I think I may have inadvertently excluded all others. I have removed that before my initial post an purged the visits database, after I exported the numbers via CSV. It seems to be tracking things now. Thank you for the heads up to the historical feature, that is a great feature. Thanks for your plugin and your hard work..

No problem, you probably didn’t include a subnet mask on your IP address which would have used the default of 0.0.0.0, excluding every ip address.
