Visitor hits on backend address?

  • Hi

    Im getting a lot of visitor hits on this address:
    //wp-content/plugins/wordpress-importer/login.php

    Well, I have deleted the plugin.
    But attempts keep comming from in mainly from USA,
    GB & Germany. The site is being scanned for malware.

    Any advice are welcome :/

  • There is no way to control where hits try to go, so about the most you can do there is to be certain your security it tight-and-right…and then sit back and enjoy the show as they get bounced away.

    Short story: One security company hits sites (or at least used to) with a goofy /t-his_i-s-not_a_4-0_4″ link I got tired of seeing, so I made a redirect to an html page with a link to another security company and saying our site was down for maintenance.
