Visiting the site -> Forward me to install.php

  • Well, as the title suggests, if you visit my website you’ll be forwarded to the install.php. Which is already deleted. But now it shows up with 404 error. Is there any solution for this problem? It’s version 2.9.2

  • log in to host’s phpmyadmin
    check mark wp_options table
    scroll to bottom and choose “repair” from drop down
    should be ok now

    Done. But still there is the same error. But, I guess it could be because I run Simple Tags’ “Add auto terms” and while this is running the whole site goes down. Any ideas?

    Try downloading WordPress and upload a new copy of the install.php file. Maybe there’s something specific that it needs you to do.

    I had the install.php there where it should be, until I came across with this problem. So I renamed it. It only said then, that wordpress is already installed. Nothing I need to do.
