Visit via specific referrer not working

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

I could reproduce this issue on my test site using latest version of WordPress Pop Up plugin and activating the “from a specific referrer” pop up condition therefore i have notified the plugin developer about it to fix it.

The issue will be resolved shortly.

we have just released a new version of the plugin that fixes some issues with the referer conditions (from specific referer/not from internal site)

In case there are still problems with the PopUp then we can help you best when you provide some details, like the exact text you use for the referer condition (or a screenshot)
Also a sample URL that redirects to the new page can be helpful so we can check the referer that is used by your sire (it may be possible that the redirection either removes or changes the referer)

Problem.
from specific referrer worked in the previous version but had the problem that when I went straight to the (internal) link that it did showsup to.
Now it no longer works.

specific referrer is hartenwensenzielenpijn.nl/coaching and must go to https://liekeholtzer.nl/coaching/ but there is no popup.

Setup is: Not from an internal link and From a specific referrer

Any advice?

Make sure you are using latest version of WordPress PopUp plugin and also try deleting & reinstalling it.

Could you please share me the screenshots of your pop up settings so that i can troubleshoot it?

For screenshots, you can simply provide a link to an image through Google Drive, Dropbox, screencast.com, https://imgur.com/ or other image service. ??

Must there be a database table “wp_popover_ip_cache”? It does not exist in this website. WP version 4.0 Popup version 4.6.1.2

No, not working.
I have tried it on a test site.
The table “wp_popover_ip_cache” is here in the database.
Popup works with specific url.
But with a link (referrer) from another site is also not working here.

problem solved! The redirect via the .htaccess file was not working.

I have now a java redirect script placed in the index.htm file, and then it worked.
