Visible pending shift trade is missing

    well at the moment 1) a staff requests to release the shift, 2) until admin approves it, the staff is still responsible for the shift, 3) after admin approves it, the shift becomes open and available for others for pickup. So it’s the way it’s currently implemented.

    Regarding the trade, we’re rebuilding this part completely, it will take a little bit more time to complete. Employees will be able to list their shifts for trade. Such shifts will be available for “exchange”, i.e. other employees will offer their own shifts to trade with that shift. The original employee could choose from several received options, and if agreed, then shifts will be swapped between employees.

    Thanks for a quick answer!

    So no-one will be able to take a shift without leaving another shift for swap?

    Sometimes an employe needs a day of and someone else wants to fill in extra.

    We loved that function pre 3.0

    I hope it will be possible.

    Question simplified:

    We need an option in the settings like this:
    (?) Keep last assigned staff name on an “empty” shift until another user has taken it.

    (The whole Shift Trade tab is not necessary.)
