Visibility & My Auction Page

With regards to your first query:
The basic operation seems fine, 1. but once the auction is completed, it is no longer visible on the main category menu item link or on the main store page. (However, if there is a live auction, old auctions are visible as ‘related items’).

— Once the auction has expired and it is no longer visible on the shop or category page then please enable the below setting in the auction plugin

Goto Admin Dashboard > Auctions > Setting

• Under ‘shop page’, enable every setting
  as mentioned in the screenshot – https://prnt.sc/vlYUSerVznUG
• After enabling settings, check on shop and product category page.

And as per your second query,

2. When I go to the user menu and try to access ‘my auctions’ I get a 404 error.

— To fix such an issue, you need to save the permalinks again.
Goto Admin Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

• Here click on button ‘Save changes’

• Now goto my-account page and check ‘My Auctions’ link
