    Hi,

I know it sounds stupid but i don’t want my maps on their own to be visible in search engines. On the pages they are embedded on this is fine but if just the map is found it shows up as a pretty awful looking page. Is there a way to disable them from showing up or is there something i should be doing within Google Maps Pro to ensure that if just the map[ itself is found then it it looks presentable

    Thankyou

    Hi there,

We’re considering adding that as a setting. For now, if you use Yoast SEO (or similar) you should be able to exclude our post-type from your sitemaps and set all the whole post-type to NOINDEX. That doesn’t remove the actual URL, but you won’t get crawled there.

    Thanks!
