Visibility by custom field

We have additional custom meta for posts. Would it be possible to use this to effectively say

Visible for get_post_meta( $post_id, ‘meta-key’, true) == ‘something’

For example I may have some custom posts where some of post content is only available to members.

So would be good to have the following type of control

show this if user is a member AND ‘part-visibility’ is ‘show-to-members’

interested in your thoughts.
