Vids not autoplaying 1st slide or any

    I’m trying out Depicter on Staging site at moment. Anyway I find that autoplay doesn’t work in most browsers at all. In Firefox and Chrome it will only autoplay if it’s not the 1st slide (desktop and Android devices). I tried small vids loaded from server and YT vids.

    I downloaded a vid template to see if it would work on them when changed settings to autoplay, but same thing. Funnily enough it does in the backend preview on 1st slide (Firefox) but not frontend.

    However unless people are using up to date Firefox and Chrome browsers, they won’t get autoplay on any slide at all! Is this something likely to be fixed in future updates?

    Hi. Regarding auto-playing for the first slide, please note that it’s a general rule of the browsers that they do not allow videos with sound to play before a website viewer interacts with the page. This means that if your video has sound, it won’t be playing on the first slide. All the videos on the other slides will play properly. ?A simple solution for this is to mute your video on the first slide. There is an option for that when you select your video element in the Depicter editor. Do that and the autoplay function will work for the first slide.

    So a short explanation would be you need to mute your video on your first slide to make it autoplay, otherwise browser disable auto play for that video.

    Hi, I have added the plugin in Divi theme builder. I have no video added to my slider. But still the autoplay to depicter slider is not working. Please help.
