    Hello!

Some of the tags created by your plugin are blocked by the antivirus. When trying to follow the link to the page of these tags from the frontend, a warning appears that this page is infected with JS: Downloader-PY [Trj] (see screenshot).

    Avast Free Antivirus is used.

I initially thought it was a tag organizer problem, however, your plugin is most likely to blame as the problematic custom tags were originally created by it. In addition, your plugin is marked as not having confirmation of compatibility with current versions of WordPress.

    Can you clarify the situation?

    Respectfully,
    Farid Taziev.

I would check the database and the content added to those archive pages, where possible, to see what may or may not be causing the virus detection triggers. We definitely do not ship with anything that should trigger those warnings. While we don’t have explicitly confirmed compatibility with 5.4.2, we also don’t have any known reasons to not be compatible with that version either.

Chances are some details/stored content in the database, or possibly things saved in your theme’s template files is the cause of Avast finding things.

Let me know what you find, as I am curious at this point.

Any changes or new developments here @artyus ?

I have postponed the analysis of this problem for now, as I am busy with other things. But judging by the fact that the site’s protection system was set up from the very beginning, it is constantly working and does not detect any viruses, and all plugins were installed exclusively from the official repositories, the point is in false recognition. At least I hope so. If I can figure it out, I’ll write it here. I myself want to know the answer.
