    Hi There,

    Is it possible that virus / spam could have been attached to Holler Box. I have been using your plugin to increase newsletter subscriptions to MailPoet but when the pop box opens from my site on mobile and internet explorer, other sites have been appearing. I have some screenshots. For the moment I have disabled the plugin. Would a removal and fresh installation be best?

  • Hi, if you downloaded the plugin through WordPress, there is no virus. I would try deleting and reinstalling it, also try in a different browser.

    It’s possible the issue is from another plugin or theme, a browser plugin, or your site itself. The only way to really test is to try Holler Box on a separate site. Since no other customers are reporting this, I don’t think it’s my plugin.
