I’m using NextGen image galleries instead of the default WordPress or theme image gallery display. When you click on a thumb, the enlargements appear, but when you X-out the image, the image is still there and needs to be X’d out again. This must be the default theme display. How can I disable this second overlay and use only the NextGen display? I could not find the appropriate CSS to set this to “display:none”.
(WordPress 4.9.5 running Virtue – Premium theme. This website is still in BETA, please ignore other pages!) Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Cat.

  • Hey,

If you want to use a different light box, you can disable the theme lightbox entirely by navigating to Theme Options> Misc Settings and setting “Theme Lightbox?” to “Lightbox Off.”

    Does that work for you?

Yes..! I figured there had to be a setting somewhere but could not find it! Turning it off worked, thanks so much for your help! Much appreciated.

No problem! I’m glad that worked for you!
