Virtue in multilanguage site with Polylang

  • First of all I want to thank theme creator for an excellent work. I have been tested several dozens of free and premium themes but this one is the best in all aspects. However my site will be multilingual and I am using Polylang for multilingual content. I can’t find the way to translate theme’s texts such as READ MORE, Submit comment, posted in.

  • Hey all of that text can be translated by translating the theme into the language you want, with a .po file. As an example, the theme has been translated into a couple languages you can see them in the languages folder of the theme. If you have one of your languages in polylang set to a translated language for the theme then it will switch. try spanish as an example.

    Thanks. That helped me a lot. As a matter of fact I was created .po and .mo files with Codestyling Localization plugin. The problem was that my country code should be in two letters. First solution was to create .po file with a poedit. Second solution is to rename .po file after translate it with a Codestyling plugin. Third solution is to keep Codestyling files as they are and change Polylang setting languages>locale from xx to xx_XX (x represents country code you are working on), also rename a flag file in the Polylang flags folder.
