virtue and sidebar when revolution slider is on full width screen

  • on a page with sidebar.
    if on top of page there is a revolution slider with full screen width, then the top of the sidebar is hidden behind slides.
    i have to use an extra sidebar with an empty div on it`s top with the height of the slideshow to make it look ok, but this way there are gaps in smaller resolutions, noticeable especially on small laptops

    any workaround to this problem??
