Breaks with common 2FA plugin, support points to addon to buy

  • Using Pie Register Premium for a long time, I suddenly had trouble to log into my sites where I use 2FA for admin account protection. Disabling Pie Register allowed me to login. The support finally told me that 2FA is not supported (guys, it DID work for years) and pointed me to an addon which I need to buy.
    As I mainly use Pie Register to implement invitation codes, I found a free plugin on Github so I could continue using my 2FA. Pie Register was uninstalled.

    A good example how to get rid of long time paying users.

    Support for the free version is primarily available through the community supported forum. Plugin developers try to keep up with the forum as much as possible. Sorry you had trouble.

    I am aware of that… but that’s what I am referencing… bug reports there are unanswered for a month… follow up unanswered much longer.
