Virtually Impossible to Sign Up with SparkPost?

I’m a long time Mandrill user, but looking to switch. So I went to sign up with SparkPost and it seems like they really don’t want anyone to sign up and make it as difficult as can be to make it happen.

So after spending the longest time on the captcha with the bunch of images that you need to keep clicking on forever to OK it, I put in my email address and password. I confirmed my email address and went to log in, only to be told that the credentials are invalid. So I proceed to go through the process of changing the password, which after finalizing gives me this error message:

Oh snap! Your password reset request has expired. Please resubmit your request.

I doubt more than a minute has passed between when I requested to change the password and changing it. Is SparkPost really so adamant about making it impossible to welcome new signups?
