Virtual Events not showing

    I am deparate to use this plugin, but right now I can’t see the Virtual Events section on the back end, so it’s useless to me. I’ve followed the video instructions on the TEC site, checked for Known Issues, deactivated all plugins, but nothing works. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, and also tried something obvious like the ‘Screen Options’ dropdown. All to no avail.

    Everything else works fine, but between ‘Time & Date’ and ‘Locations’ I should see ‘Virtual Events’ and I don’t.

    Gutted because I really want to use this plugin, it looks way better than anything else out there.

    Any ideas anyone?

    For info, I have latest WP update. Other plugins are Elementor + Pro, Really SImple SSL, Sucuri and Wordfence

    Hi @joegardham

    Thanks for reaching out!

    In order to be able to create virtual events you will need the corresponding plugin. It is not part of The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, but a separate premium add-on. Do you have that installed as well?

    Hi Andras, thanks for the reply. I have the Community Events ($149) premium add on, which says it comes with Virtual Events, but they’re not there….?

    Hi Andras, just wanted to add that since purchasing this plugin, I’ve been unable to display an events page.

    I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and changed to WP theme without success.

    So basically I’ve paid $149 for a plugin that doesn’t appear to work or meet any of my requirements. Will be returning for a refund if this can’t be resolved asap

    Hi @joegardham,

    While Community Events integrates well with Virtual Events, they both are separate plugins. Like Andras said, you would need Virtual Events as well.

    If you have further questions regarding these premium add-ons, I invite you to open a ticket on The Events Calendar website as this forum is only for free plugins.
