• The plugin works well on test mode but on production mode, while paying via Vipps, it shows the error message “Vipps is temporarily unavailable.”. And on the checkout page, it shows the message “Unfortunately, the Vipps payment method is currently unavailable. Please choose another method.”.

All the secret keys and merchant IDs are placed correctly.

How do I get this work? ??

    Any help/suggestion would be appreaciated.

The front-end error messages are deliberately kept vague so as to not leak information about your setup. You should be able to find more informative error messages in the WooCommerce log: Go to WooCommerce/Status and find the “Logs” tab.

You will be looking for the “woo-vipps” log, but you should also check “Fatal errors” for problems.

Hi @iverok . Thanks for the quick reply.

    This is what I got.

ERROR Could not get Vipps access token Access denied due to missing subscription key. Make sure to include subscription key when making requests to an API.

I’ve added the right subscription key. Should I contact Vipps regarding issue?

The latest error I got is, “ERROR Could not initiate Vipps payment 402 Merchant not available or deactivated or blocked”.

I have setup all the necessary keys from the payment setting section. What could have been wrong here?

I can’t say; the error message basically says that the keys/ids you are using aren’t valid.

I would try to delete all keys, ensure “test mode” is deactivated and re-enter just the production keys just to be sure. If that doesn’t work you will need to contact integration <at> vipps with your account ids; there may be some sort of problem on that end.
