    This plugin automatically includes this link on the frontend:

    Which is a direct violation of the Plugin Directory Guidelines:

    10. Plugins may not embed external links or credits on the public site without explicitly asking the user’s permission.
    All “Powered By” or credit displays and links included in the plugin code must be optional and default to not show on users’ front-facing websites. Users must opt-in to displaying any and all credits and links via clearly stated and understandable choices, not buried in the terms of use or documentation. Plugins may not require credit or links be displayed in order to function. Services are permitted to brand their output as they see fit, provided the code is handled in the service and not the plugin.

    Thank you for your message.

    Note that what you are seeing there is the branding shown on the Free version of the SNPT embed. This is not a part of the WordPress SNPT plugin.

    The SNPT Plugin primarily serves the purpose of automatically inserting the SNPT Conversion Code into your WooCommerce Checkout – to report on SNPT and Store performance.

    The Plugin previously offered the means to faciliate the installation of the Embed – to save on having to deal with custom code snippet installation – but it simply serves as a bridge to assist store owners. The SNPT Embed is otherwise an independent feature of SNPT and not bundled or part of our Plugin at all.

    Ok, so you are not violating the guidelines, just using a loophole to achieve the same effect. I feel better.

    You are using the same argument as if a Youtube plugin showed the Youtube branding, but this is your official plugin showing your own code from your own site, so it’s you who is adding the link to the front-end.
