Vimeo videos playing faster than loading

    Vimeo videos are playing faster than loading in my posts and consequently stop and start throughout the video. Would decreasing the screen size of the video fix this problem? They are currently 640px x 360px. Or are there any plugins that would make them load faster than they play or download them before they are playable?
